Peafowl(peacock) Quilled

A peafowl is a bird.there are two kinds of peafowls.The Asiatic peafowl and the Congo peafowl.
The male peafowl(peacock) have beautiful long feathers.But female peafowl(peahens)have shorter,brown feathers.
In Sri Lanka,we called "monara or mayura" for male peafowl.And for female peafowl(peahens) we called "sebada"
I created paper quilling peafowl.For this quilling creation i used teardrops,marquise,loose scrolls and triangle shapes.

Vase of rose flowers(quilled)

In Sri Lanka we called this "mal pochchiya" or "mal banduna".Well "mal"mean flower and "pochchiya"mean vase.I made this beautiful Rose flowers and leaves using techniques of paper quilling. See you soon with new quilling designs.Today is second months anniversary  of my quilling blog.

Quilled sunflower

Now i:m popular among my friends because of my quilling creations.This is also request from university friend of mine.So she wanted to buy quilled sunflower and i made  this beautiful sunflower using techniques of paper quilling.
Sunflowers or Heliantus(from the Greek: Helios mean sun and anthos mean flower.The sunflower is an annual plant in the family asteraceae,with a large flower head.The genus is one of many in the asteraceae thats are known as sunflower.In Sri Lanka we called it "sooriyakantha" thats also sinhala meaning to sunflower.

Fisherman (paper quilling)

A fisherman is a person who catches fish.Fisherman or fisher usually catch fish so that they can sell the fish and earn money to protect their family.In our country Sri Lanka we called "dhiwaraya or malu allanna or malu banna " for fisher. Mostly in sri Lanka they lived maritime areas (negombo,kalpitiya...)
I used for this quilling creation some of paper quilling shapes such as square,triangle,half circle,loose rolls.
